Solar PV Site Analysis and Design

GPR has performed numerous solar photovoltaic site feasibility studies and site designs across Massachusetts, including both roof- and ground-mounted systems. We have evaluated a list of sites owned by a major utility company interested in meeting their “green energy” goals. We have also worked with municipalities and several large solar project developers to evaluate, design and permit solar PV facilities in numerous towns throughout Massachusetts, including a 3 MW site on Devens, MA for Citizens Energy, and a wind / renewable energy project on top of Wachusett Mountain for the Princeton Municipal Light District (link to portfolio page). We understand the permitting process both with regard to MGL Ch. 40A Section 3, local zoning bylaws, conservation regulations and NHESP. GPR’s experienced surveyors, design engineers and project managers will be an invaluable addition to your solar PV development team.
