Renewable Energy

GPR has a developed expertise in the siting and permitting of ground mounted solar array projects, and has provided a variety of services to the solar industry throughout Massachusetts. Full services typically include site and zoning/regulatory research, initial site evaluation and definition of site constraints, conceptual site design, final site design and permitting, construction survey layout and observation/consulting, and final construction record plans and regulatory close-out at project’s end. Of course, any individual project may have all or only some of these services required.

Some of GPR’s projects include a 3 MW site on Devens, MA for Citizens Energy, and a wind / renewable energy project on top of Wachusett Mountain for the Princeton Municipal Light District). We understand the permitting process at state and local levels, including MGL Ch. 40A Section 3, local zoning bylaws, conservation regulations and NHESP. GPR’s experienced surveyors, design engineers and project managers will be an invaluable addition to your solar PV development team.
