The Sawyer Hill Road project, located in Berlin, MA is currently under construction. The original 59.65 acres site now consists of two residential cohousing communities; Mosaic Commons and Camelot CoHousing, LLC. Cohousing communities are composed of private homes supplemented by common facilities. |

A cohousing community is planned, owned and managed by the residents who seek and appreciate interaction with their neighbors. Common facilities vary but usually include a large kitchen and dining room where residents can take turns cooking for the community.

Cohousing communities tend to place a higher value on the exploration and implementation of environmental alternatives and adopt measures to protect and enhance resources with green building, communal gardens, carpooling, and many other eco-friendly opportunities. |
