GPR designed the structural
framing for a five-sided sunroom addition to the existing building
involving the design of a steel beam, engineered lumber frame and
foundation wall. In the main building GPR reinforced existing roof
framing and designed steel floor beams and columns in order to remove
existing columns. This process included designing connections for the
interactions between the existing wood and new steel. In addition, GPR
modified other floor framing to accommodate the relocation of bearing
wall partitions.
