Lynwood
Valentine Prest, PE (MSCE), President of GPR, is a registered
professional engineer in 6 states, and has National Certification. In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Val is licensed
as both a Civil and a Structural Engineer.
He previously owned his own firm for 12 years. In addition to his
extensive and varied structural and civil engineering design activities,
Val has also conducted many forensic engineering investigations into
structural failures, and has acted as an expert witness in court. He has
developed specialized techniques for epoxy repairs of timber framing and
has presented a mini seminar on those procedures. Val is a recent
Past-President of The Boston Association of Structural Engineers (BASE).

Bruce
D. Ringwall (BLA), Vice President of GPR, is the former Director of
Land Planning for Joseph R. Henry & Associates, Inc. of Harvard, MA.
Bruce is a Certified Soil Evaluator and Title 5 System Inspector.
Having appeared before nearly every Planning Board, Conservation
Commission and Board of Health in Central Massachusetts, Bruce is
recognized as an expert in land planning, regulations, permitting and the
approval process for land development in the area. Bruce also has
considerable expertise in septic system design and permitting.

Calvin
R. Goldsmith (BSE, MBA), is Vice President and Treasurer of GPR, and
formerly worked for engineering offices in California, Connecticut, and
Massachusetts. Cal
is a Licensed Construction Supervisor in Massachusetts and a Certified
Title 5 System Inspector. He has extensive experience in land planning and
development, site design, stormwater analysis and design, and in obtaining approval for projects from local Planning Boards and
Conservation Commissions. In
addition, he is currently the consultant to the Maynard Planning Board,
and was formerly an Alternate Zoning Enforcement Officer and Conservation
Commissioner in the Town of Harvard, and the Chairman of the Harvard
Planning Board.

Brian
Thorne (BS), is Project Manager and Manager of CAD operations at
GPR. With over eight years of professional experience in land
planning and development, civil engineering, project management,
permitting, construction, and municipal infrastructure and commercial site
design, Brian is also an Approved Soil Evaluator (MA). In addition,
Brian has extensive experience in stormwater management, Title
5/subsurface sewage disposal system design, wetlands permitting, and
construction observation of site development projects. |
