GPR's Forensic Engineering Services are performed by Lynwood V. Prest, PE, BASE, President of GPR.  Val is a registered professional engineer in 6 states, has National Certification and is listed in Who's Who. In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Val is licensed as both a Civil and a Structural Engineer.  He previously owned his own firm for 12 years. In addition to his extensive and varied structural and civil engineering design activities, Val has also conducted many forensic engineering investigations into structural failures, and has acted as an expert witness in court. He has developed specialized techniques for epoxy repairs of timber framing and has presented a mini seminar on those procedures. Val is a recent Past-President of The Boston Association of Structural Engineers (BASE).
